For the Downtown Tempe Authority’s State of Downtown Awards, I designed a one-of-a-kind LEGO art piece that celebrated both the past and future of Mill Avenue. Each award was mounted on a real reclaimed brick from Mill Ave, symbolizing the city's foundation. The concept featured a “new” paver peeling away to reveal the DTA logo beneath, rendered in their signature teal, emerging from a custom greebled surface. No two pieces were alike; every brick was individually built with unique textures and patterns, making each award truly original.
